Our range of decore colours can be used as both On-glaze colours (traditional majolica) or as In-glaze colours. The colours are produce to fit several kinds of applications i.e. brush painting, spraying, stamping and screen printing. If brush painted under transparent glaze or on white opaque glaze the result is strong and bright colours.
These colours can be applied on both stoneware and earthenware. Mixing the colours with White no. 1699 will give a pastel look. To achieve weaker shade, mix the coloures with Transparent no. 1652. All colours can be diluted with water.
The colours comes Recommended firing temperature is 960-1260°C. Colours may vary depending on the firing temperature. Check the firing temperature to fit your normal firing schedule.
The colours comes in powder, packed in 100g or kg are but also available as ready mixed in 50ml plastic cans. (see Decore colours, Ready mixed).
Being successful with decore painting is very much depended on consistensy and choice of brush, Always make small tests before you start.
