Develops a smooth matt surface, suitable for decoration with underglaze colours, slips, oxides etc. 1307 is also well suitable for staining. The matt surface is very stable within a wide temperature range, and under various firing conditions. Note, that the surface is somewhat soft, i.e. less suitable for dinnerware. Hint: By addition of glaze 2209, scratch-resistance will increase considerably. Firing range: 1220°C – 1300°C Rec. density: B40
