Stoneware Glaze 1310 Crystal Creamy, Glossy 100 g
A creamy white, effective glaze. Crystals develop when the glaze is soft and easy to flow. This occurs mainly on the cooling curve at 1200 ºC with very long equalization, but with the risk that the glaze will run. 1310 can be fired to 1250 °C with other glazes without running. Very suitable for light clay types.
|Rec. temperature||:||1220-1250 °C|
|Specific gravity ||:||50°|
The glaze powder is mixed with water, for good mixing results we recommend glaze stirrers . Measure approx. 8 dl water per kg glaze powder and slowly pour the powder into the water while stirring. Adjust glaze powder and amount of water using a hydrometer . If the glaze has not been used for some time, the specific gravity should be checked before use.
We recommend that transparent and single-colored glazes should be sieved through a sieve with a mesh density of 60 mesh , however, sieving of effect glazes should be avoided.
The glaze can settle, to avoid this adjusting agent ABM-3 can be added.
